FAQs

What kind of tripod head should I use?

You can use any flat-mount tripod that attaches via 3/8" bolt. There are many options available but one head that we use regularly is: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1408036-REG/manfrotto_mh496_bhus_496_ball_head_with.html

What about aluminum or carbon fiber cars.

There are times when traditional suction cups may be necessary for some surfaces. You can easily swap out the magnets for a set of our A-Cup or C-Cup suction when needed.

I got the magnets stuck together. How do I separate them?

It's human nature to want to snap the magnets together. In order to separate them you will need to thread them onto something to get enough leverage. Do not try to separate them using a knife/screwdriver etc...

Will the magnets erase my media?

No, flash media is not affected by magnets.

How fast can I drive.

This depends on position and terrain but normal driving speeds are usually not a concern:
